Alan and Norman have been playing in their musical Duo ‘Double Trouble’ for a number of years mainly in the Surrey/South London area. They cover a wide range of styles of music from the 50's to date. During this period they have also played at various venues as band members including 'The Marquee' in central London.

In addition to this they have appeared and performed as session musicians in BBC's 'Roger, Roger' series. They played the title track and provided incidental music for ITV's 'Days Like These' and played on a featured episode of the Lee Evans BBC sitcom, 'So What Now'. Other credits include providing music for the comedy series, ‘My Family’ on the Christmas special starring Robert Lindsay and Zoë Wanamaker and providing music for 2 episodes of the BBC series ‘The Green, Green Grass’, ‘Calendar Boys’ and ‘The Departed’.

Besides their TV sessions they have made personal appearances in an 'Only Fools And Horses' Christmas Special. This was the last ‘Only Fools..’ episode titled ‘Sleepless In Peckham’. They have also appeared on Sky TV.  

Their session work has covered many a television program over the years and also included music for various adverts and corporate videos and currently see's them in demand for original tracks for the USA show 'Dancing With The Stars'. Through their music they have been responsible for raising a considerable amount of money for various charities including cancer research, the pituitary foundation and special care baby units.  One of the most notable was at ‘The Works’ nightclub in Kingston where over £10,000 was raised for victim support.  In recent years, they appeared at 'The Half Moon' Putney, where they helped raise money for the very worthy, ‘Help For Heroes’ (H4H) foundation. A more recent charity performance in January 2017 in aid of the Royal Marsden hospital, raised over £2,700.
