Welcome to the cyberspace home of Double Trouble, the duo with a difference. The band consists of Alan Nichol (vocals) and Norman Langton (guitars).  They have played together for a number of years mainly in the Surrey / South London area and cover a wide range of styles from the 50's to date.

Double Trouble successfully tackle many songs that others fear to perform.  In addition to their extensive wide ranging library of material they have some unique and original versions such as their epic version of The Beatles ‘Eleanor Rigby’.

The band is available for hire for any function, including weddings, birthday parties, charity Gigs or any other suitable occasion. If you wish to make a booking, see the boys play live, or just require further information please Contact DoubleTduo@aol.com or phone on 0208 393 5935 or 0208 644 6744.

We have a 16 track CD available. To request your copy please email us at DoubleTDuo@aol.com or direct at one of our Gigs.  One of the tracks, 'Mission Impossible', was used exclusively by Steve Mowbray, Radio Jackie DJ on 107.8 FM, during his morning shows" http://www.radiojackie.com

Whilst taking a sabbatical from live performance, in recent months we have recorded (and in some cases re-recorded) archive material, including original songs written many years ago. Our take on Bowie's 'Moonage Daydream' can be found here:

After a considerable layoff due to Covid and other issues, Alan and Norman are undertaking a band gig with some good friends in 2024 under the auspices of the, 'South London Boys' - 'SLB'. We also hope to resume our live Duo gigs in 2024.
